Lord Ganesha is called the Lord of obstacles because clears the obstacles for good people and gives obstacles for asurasO viGnarAjane, my mind is engrossed in bad subjects ( not related to Shri Hari), please let me be interested in Bhakti of lotus feet of Shri Hari, which burns all the bad qualities and bad deedsPlease keep me dedicated in serving Guru Gopaladasaru, which will remove the fear burning in hell

* cArudEShNA means good food - Crows eat flesh, whenever cArudEShNA used to leave for battle all the crows would invite other crows by crawing and follow cArudEShNA since they were sure to find good food ( for the crows )

* I have used the word mOra because the closest translation I could get was "winnowing rice with basket by hand"

Translation
* Sri Veda Vyasa asked Lord Ganesha to write the Mahabharata while he dictates, Lord Ganesha's condition was Veda Vyasa should not stop dictating and Sri Veda Vyasa's condition was Ganesha should understand everything he writes. Hence in Mahabharata there are niguta shlokas, puzzles to buy time. This is ofcourse a leela of Veda Vyasa (Sri Hari). The gist is Lord Ganesha was extremely eager, efficient and exteremely fast in executing Sri Hari's orders and so should we. Lord Ganesha also understood completely before writing the verse which is also a learning for us.
O Akashapati with great devotion, you understood the work of Sri Veda Vyasa (Mahabharata) and wrote it effortlessly and made it available to the world.O one who holds the elephant goad and noose, ( if you contorl the mind like elephant, you can rope in Lord Ganesha with Bhakti) I request you to tell us the meaning of Mahabharata ( since he understood it while writing it ).O ocean of compassion, please cast your merciful glance on us each day

* Everybody has a six petalled lotus in the navel region. The deity responsible for this is Ganpathi,since the akasha is born from the nabhi of Shri Hari & Akasha's deity is Lord Ganesha ( Nabhya asyadanti antahriksham - Purusha Sukta )
O one who lives the navel area of Sri Hari, O one decorated with red gandha, friend of the devatas, purifier of the worlds,riding on mUShika ( a deity in the 19th Kaksha ), One who has special presence of Mukhya prana, One who is famous, O Lord, please fulfill the desires requested by the devotees everyday.

* Shri Hari has shown to do Ganesha pooja by doing it himself as Shri Rama and getting it done by Yudhistra during Shri Krishna avataara.
Indra worshipped you before killing the demons, as did Shri Rama in the mouth of bridge to Lanka.Emperor Yudishtra following Shri Krishna's orders worshipped you, O Ganesha, by your love we get the grace of Lord Sri Hari.

* This verse tells us not ask for any material benefits even when times are tough and to trust Shri Hari.Shri Hari himself runs the whole show, making the saatvic people do saatvic karmas,raajasic people do raajasic karmas and the taamsic people; taamsic karmas. If we let Sri Hari run the show it is the best course of action.
I do not ask for anything, even if I get bad times I am not afraid. Shri Hari the Lord of all, will himself get all the tasks done as per their gunas. I pray to you, each second to grant us this great knowledge.
